WANTED: BRAVE KNIGHTS AND FEARLESS MAIDENS TO HUNT DRAGONS

What: The opportunity for knights and maidens of all ages to sharpen their dragon etiquette, a very important skill set for those hoping to complete their Draconian studies.

When: June 2nd until September 4th

Where: Frazier International History Museum, the nesting place for the River City’s newest scaly citizens.

Have you ever dreamed of slaying a dragon in order to save a beautiful princess? Ever wondered if dragon love is also “never having to say you’re sorry”?

Thanks to the courageous men and women of the Frazier International History Museum, you can bring the whole family to Dragons, Louisville’s most innovative new summer museum experience.

This is a chance for knights and maidens across the Kentuckiana region to hone their dragon communication abilities, learn appropriate dragon decorum and become immersed in dragon culture and lore.

The Dragons experience realizes that not all knights and maidens are created equally. For that reason, there are two levels of dragon education to go through, both necessary in advancing to higher levels of dragon expertise.

Beginner students will want to start off with the “good” dragon path, a chance to see the softer side of these mythical creatures. The more advanced will be drawn to the “bad” dragon exhibits; but be fair warned, these dragons do not always play by the rules. Once a path is completed, our apprentices will have the opportunity to double back through the exhibit to see the other side of the exhibit if they choose.

Dragons will feature fun props, interactive educational graphics, an animatronic storytelling princess and fascinating facts about mythological dragons from around the world. Apprentices of all ages will learn about dragon physiology, what to do if you find a dragon egg, the effects of dragons on historical cultures, dragon courtship and much, much more.

Our citizens must remember that there is a certain way to approach a dragon; they are impatient creatures that do not like to be spoken to in a way they deem improper. Learn proper dragon etiquette and they can be our friends for years to come. Ignore them and feel their wrath.

The choice is yours.
