Deck of Cards
Each of the suits in a deck of cards represents the four major pillars of the economy in the Middle Ages. Heart represented the Church; Spades represented the military; Clubs represented agriculture; and Diamonds represented the merchant class.
School Programs
Experience. Educate. Investigate.
The Frazier Museum’s school programs are the driving force behind our mission and primary reason for existence – helping some of our most important visitors, students, learn from the past in order to create a better future.
Through a variety of school programs, both in the museum and in the classroom, and teacher workshops, the Frazier Museum takes the historic content “off the page” and makes it relevant to our lives today. We bring history to life for K-12 students via exceptional educational opportunities that utilize object-based learning, engaging activities, gallery investigations and live performances – all tailored to meet Core Content Curriculum Standards.
